You may have already heard about the Walk of EMS included in the entrance and atrium of the new Wisconsin EMS Association office building. Hundreds of Wisconsin EMS organizations already have their names, logos, photos or other messages included on the Walk of EMS. Everyone who walks through the front doors of the Wisconsin EMS Association will see these engraved tiles for years to come. Unlike outdoor bricks, the tiles are visible year-round. Plus, being inside and away from the elements, visitors are able to take their time looking through all of the photos, logos and service names that are included.

As a Service or Corporate Member of the Wisconsin EMS Association, any organization who was a member on January 1, 2009 has been included in the Walk of EMS at no charge. It’s just one additional benefit of being a Service or Corporate member of WEMSA. Many other organizations have greatly increased their presence on the Walk of EMS, by purchasing their very own tile! Although space is very limited, a few additional tile locations remain available for purchase. A 12X12 tile costs just $250 and can contain virtually any logo, photo or other graphic of your choice.

The Wisconsin State Firefighter’s Memorial is located in Wisconsin Rapids. There are eight separate fire museums throughout Wisconsin. However, until now, there was no recognition for Wisconsin’s EMS providers. The Walk of EMS is the very first area in Wisconsin to honor and recognize Wisconsin’s emergency medical services providers. Do you really want your EMS organization to be left out?
